Olive oil, particularly extra virgin olive oil, supports cardiovascular health by reducing bad cholesterol (LDL) and increasing good cholesterol (HDL). Rich in antioxidants like polyphenols, it helps reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, protecting blood vessels. Regular consumption of olive oil is also linked to lower blood pressure, promoting better circulation and heart health. Medicinal EVOO From Selected Hilltops

Specially selected hilltops of our orchard are marked for Medicinal certified organic cultivation, ensuring the highest quality olives. We have clearly designated the territory of our organic area, which produces some of the highest levels of phenolic antioxidants in the world. This is the olive oil you can keep in your medicine cabinet, rich in health-boosting properties.

Welcome to the Acropolis Estate

For generations, the Tsiriotakis family has carried on the legacy of our ancestors, producing olive oil that stands unrivaled in the market. We oversee every aspect of olive oil production—from cultivation to milling, bottling, and export. Each step is performed with meticulous care to ensure we meet the strictest international standards, as well as our own rigorous internal procedures. Our family’s honor depends on it. Every bottle of our Bioharvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced in our family-owned milling and bottling facilities in the Kolymvari region.

Geographical Perfection

Our estate is located right on the coast of the Aegean Sea, kissed by the salty air year-round. It enjoys the most sunlight hours of any region in Europe. The elevation and rolling hills create the perfect growing conditions for our olive trees. That’s why our village is home to the world’s oldest olive tree. If you look even further back in time, you’ll find the Minoan civilization, 5,000 years ago, trading olive oil with the world.

Our Mill

We press our olives at our family-operated mill, where they are meticulously washed using fresh water before every pressing, ensuring they are never exposed to excessive heat. Polyphenol antioxidants are created during the milling process, which is an art that takes years of practice to perfect. Milling is more important to the production of olive oil than most people realize.

One Variety

The Koroneiki olive variety is often regarded as the ‘king of olives’ due to its strength and resilience. Unlike other varieties that quickly lose freshness, Koroneiki olives preserve their aroma, taste, and nutritional value over time, offering a richness that endures. It’s a favourite of olive oil foodies and connoisseurs alike! And that peppery pop? That indicates the oil’s high polyphenol content – an antioxidant renowned for its health-boosting properties. Make great taste your tradition with Acropolis Organics live Oil. Your tastebuds will thank you!

Certifications and Limited Harvests

Each bottle carries ‘stamps of approval’ including chemical analysis to confirm freshness and purity, Protected Designation of Origin certification from the European Union (EU) as an exclusive producer of authentic EVOO, and Certified Organic status by the EU and Bio Hellas Certification Agency, meeting the strictest industry standards. From growing to pressing to bottling, we handle every step on our estate. From our family farm—with love—to your family’s table.

Strict Quality Control and Analysis

Bioharvest Series
EVOO has an acidity level of 0.2 % to 0.4%.
Lower acidity values guarantee a high-quality extra virgin olive oil, verifying it has been obtained from healthy olives and under ideal conditions.

Guarantees genuine,
100% extra virgin olive oil, never blended with other oils.

A critical marker for good quality extra virgin olive oil. Lower values indicate the freshness of the olive oil and storage conditions.

Indicates freshness and clarity. Fresh extra virgin olive oil has a low peroxide index (less than or to equal to 20 meq02/Kg). High peroxide levels
indicate that oil has oxidized and become rancid due to exposure to oxygen and improper storage conditions.

Measurement of purity parameters. A high wax concentration indicates that the oil may have been adulterated with refined olive oil or pomace oil, or even other olive varieties.
