Unlike common recipes for balsamic glazes, which are sweetened with refined sugar, our balsamic glazes are flavored with certified organic fruits that boost the nutritional value of our products.
Authentic balsamic vinegar has already fermented for several years. It will continue to stay safe for consumption indefinitely. Like aged wine, balsamic vinegar gets better with time.
To preserve the precious flavors, tightly seal the bottle after each use. Store it in a cool, dark cabinet. There is no need to refrigerate unless you would like to chill it for use over crispy salads and vegetables.
Balsamic Vinegar is a fermented grape must. After harvesting of the grapes, they are pressed into grape must so that fresh juice is complete with juice, skin, seeds, and stems. The grape must is then further reduced over an open flame and fermented and aged, according to artisanal family traditions.
Acetic acid is the main compound of balsamic vinegar. Research shows it contains strains of probiotic bacteria, which may improve gut health and strengthen immunity.
Balsamic vinegars with a list of hard to pronounce additives are commonly found on the supermarket shelves. GMO brown sugar, thickeners, and caramel coloring are possible hidden additions.
